As, cities, states, countries, and companies around the world grapple with the increasing cost of sourcing non-renewable energy sources, renewable energy sources like wind, water and solar have caught the eye of every government. Among all available options, wind energy investments are growing everywhere from Copenhagen to California to China.
The world is able to see the fruit of all the hard work happening across the globe. As per the GWEC report, the 2016 global wind energy output was at a whopping 487 gigawatts (GW). Out of this China led the chart with a total of 23 gigawatts of wind energy followed by U.S., Germany and India.
